Booking Policy
To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please review the following policies before booking.
1. PAYMENT & BOOKING CONFIRMATION
All studio sessions must be paid in full to be confirmed.
After submitting a booking request, payment must be received within 2 hours. If payment is not received within that time, the reservation may be automatically released.
Payment instructions will be provided during the booking process.
A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
2. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.
Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice may be moved to another available date and time.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and may not be eligible for rescheduling.
3. LATE ARRIVALS
Your session begins at the time reserved.
Arriving late does not extend your session. Your original scheduled end time will remain the same.
Additional time may be purchased if available.
4. NO-SHOWS
Failure to arrive for a scheduled session without notice will be considered a no-show.
No-show payments are forfeited and are non-refundable.
5. SESSION TIME & OVERTIME
All setup, recording, playback, file preparation and breakdown must take place within your reserved session time.
If additional studio time is needed, it must be approved and paid for before the session is extended.
Extensions are subject to studio availability.
6. $150 / 4-HOUR SPECIAL
The 4 Hours for $150 promotional rate is available only in designated studios:
YouTube • Spotify • iTunes • Studio D
Promotional sessions are subject to availability and must be booked in 4-hour blocks.
The promotional rate cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
7. I AM STUDIO MEMBERSHIPS
Membership sessions must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.
Unused weekly sessions do not roll over.
Membership sessions are non-transferable and may not be sold, shared or transferred to another person.
Late cancellations and no-shows may count as a used membership session.
Membership access is limited to studios and benefits included with the applicable membership plan.
8. ENGINEERS & ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Studio rental and engineering services are priced according to the selected booking.
Any engineering, mixing, mastering, production or other services not specifically included in your booking are additional.
9. GUESTS & STUDIO CONDUCT
The person making the reservation is responsible for their guests and for any damage caused during their session.
Clients and guests are expected to respect IAM staff, equipment, facilities and other clients.
IAM reserves the right to end a session for unsafe, disruptive, threatening or damaging behavior. No refund will be issued when a session is terminated for violation of studio policies.
10. FOOD, DRINKS & SMOKING
Food and beverages must remain in designated areas unless otherwise approved.
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas, if applicable.
Clients are responsible for keeping their studio and common areas clean.
11. EQUIPMENT & DAMAGES
Clients are responsible for damage to IAM equipment or property caused by misuse, negligence or the actions of their guests.
Any equipment issue should be reported to IAM staff immediately.
12. PERSONAL PROPERTY
IAM Recording Studios is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended, lost or left behind after a session.
Please remove all personal property at the end of your booking.
13. COMMUNICATION
Please provide accurate contact information when booking.
Important booking confirmations, schedule changes and other session information may be sent using the phone number or email address provided.
14. RESIDENT STUDIOS
IAM Resident Studios operate under a separate Resident Studio Agreement.
Resident Studio pricing, deposits, access hours, guest privileges, utilities and other terms are governed by that agreement and are not covered by standard hourly booking policies.
15. ACCEPTANCE OF POLICIES
By submitting payment and confirming a studio reservation, you acknowledge and agree to IAM Recording Studios' booking policies.
